Gold-copper mineralization is spatially related to intrusive bodies of intermediate composition, which are cross-cut by intermediate sulphidation epithermal veins. Nearby projects include Anglogold Ashanti Limited's advance-stage Nuevo Chaquiro copper-gold project and Caldas Gold Corp.'s Marmato Gold Mine.
